This was no top league game for GasTerra Flames, as they faced off against Upstairs Weert, a team that didn't has the talent that Flames has. The talent gap showed, as GasTerra Flames was able to cruise to a 87-61 victory. The Flames were able to dominate early thanks to the strong play of Jason Dourisseau and Jason Ellis. The GasTerra Flames was able to grab a 27-17 lead after the first quarter thanks to strong defense played by Coach Marco van den Berg 's squad. The Flames went into halftime with a 43-30 lead at the half, with Matt Haryasz leading the way with 15 points. Despite being in control, Coach Marco van den Berg kept his own team in their toes by switching defenses. The Flames squad would not relent, as they continued to play aggressive defense and run the floor wherever and whenever the opportunities presented themselves. After a final scrappy six-minute push from his starting line-up, GasTerra Flames coach Marco van den Berg put in his reserves to finish off what was a 87-61 win. Matt Haryasz finishing with 21 points, while Jason Dourisseau chipped in with 20 points for GasTerra Flames.
