Semi-Finals Game 1: Goettingen - Roanne 77-67

Goettingen advanced into the EuroChallenge Final. The German team edged out Roanne in front of supportive home fans. Taylor Rochestie stepped up for the hosts with 27 points, 4 boards and 4 assists. The French team dominated the first quarter. After the teams traded baskets early in the game the French side triggered an 11:0 run to take a 21:13 lead. Etienne Brower and Lewis capped the frame with four free throws giving the visitors a 26:16 advantage. Amagou opened the second frame with a three-pointer to stretch Roanne lead. Diabate and Lewis added two long bombs to silence the fans as Roanne piled up a 37:17 advantage. However the German side responded with an 8:0 run to come back into the game. Taylor Rochestie sealed the first half outcome at 28:41. Taylor Rochestie orchestrated the rescue mission for Goettingen in the third frame. He unloaded 16 points in the term as Goettingen denied the deficit and accumulated a 57:51 lead at the final intermission. Uchenna Nsonwu and Dylan Page returned the lead to Roanne but not for long. Robert Kulawick exploded with back-to-back three-pointers securing a 68:66 advantage for the home side. Oliver followed with five points in a row as Goettingen enjoyed a 75:66 lead with just over a minute remaining. Roanne had no time to save the encounter as Goettingen cruised to the win. Ben Jacobson netted 13 points for Goettingen. Robert Kulawick added 11 points in the victory. Dylan Page responded with 19 points for Roanne. Etienne Brower and Uchenna Nsonwu finished with 11 points each in the losing effort.
