The Quebradillas Pirates beat the Mayaguez Indians and it wasnt pretty, the final score was 114-88. The Pirates took command of the game in the very 1st quarter, 37-20 and by the half the Pirates were comfortably in command 58-40. Things didnt get any better for the Indians in the 2nd half as the Pirates continued to score at will and at the end of the 3rd quarter the Pirates were up by 23 points, 87-64. The Indians never threaten the Pirates the rest of the way. It was an unusual beating for the Indians who have the worst record in the BSN but had up to this point given their adversaries a tough challenge to obtain their victories. For Quebradillas, Joel Jones scored 24 points while David Huertas followed up with 20 points. For Mayaguez, James Maye scored 17 points followed by Alex Galindo and Steven Ramirez both scoring 14 points. *by Luis Ramirez
