Semi-Finals Game 4: Leiden - Groningen 90-88 OT

ZZ Leiden earned a dramatic 90-88 overtime victory over GasTerra Flames Tuesday night. After three quarters of the fourth game of the 2010 Dutch playoffs Semi-Finals, after trailing by 15 points ZZ Leiden fall behind, 61-76. The Flames controlled the play in the first half, leading by as many as 9 early in the first quarter before settling for a 43-45 lead at the break. GasTerra Flames led by as many as 17 in the third quarter and held a 15 point lead (61-76) at the end of the third quarter, but ZZ Leiden closed the game on a 21-6 run to force overtime with the game tied 82-82. ZZ Leiden didn't get back in it all by themselves. GasTerra Flames went ice cold from the field at the worst possible time. But ZZ Leiden took full advantage. Monta McGhee and Danny Gibson scored both a three-pointer, and the rally was on. Scorers ZZ Leiden: Monta McGhee 21 pts., Danny Gibson and Jeroen Slor 20, Seamus Boxley 15.
