Finals Game 6: Fener.Ulker - Anadolu Efes 76-51
Date: June 2, 2010
Fenerbahce Ulker won the TBL title for season 2009/10. They blasted Efes Pilsen in Game Six and won the series 4-2. Mirsad Turkcan was the leading scorer in Fener with 16 points. Roko-Leni Ukic had 15 and Semih Erden (6 rebs) followed him with 2 points less. Tarence Kinsey collected 11 points and 8 rebounds. Kinsey was the MVP of this game with valuation 20. In Efes Pilsen, Charles Smith netted 15 points. He was their only player with double-digits in scoring. First quarter was the crucial one in this game. Mirsad Turkcan and his teammates demonstrated wonderful performance in this period ending it with 32-10. That was a real shock for Efes Pilsen players, who didn’t succeed to recover for rest of the time. Second quarter also belonged to Fener, who was 48-24 up at the half time. Question about the winner is definitely resolved in Q3. Fener intensified defense even more and limited visitors for just 8 points in 10 minutes. On the other side, they scored 17 and everything after that was just the formality. As a reminder, Fenerbahce Ulker advanced to playoff as No.2 in regular season with 23-7 record. In the Quarterfinals they eliminated Bornova and after that Banvit (both 3-0).
