Finals Game 2: Culiacan - Cananea 85-59

Culiacan blasted Cananea in Game Two of the CIBACOPA Finals. After thriller win in the first meeting, this time Culiacan players were much better and destroyed the visiting squad 85-59 for 2-0 lead in the series. Marcus Moore once again was the leading scorer in victory. Moore spent 35 minutes on the court draining 31 points. He made six triples and reached valuation 26. Victor Avila followed Moore with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Horacio Llamas added 12 pts and 9 boards. On the other side, Cananea got double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds from Derek Thomas. Letheal Cook had 19 pts and 9 rebs. Third quarter was the crucial one last night. Before that, Culiacan made 17-15 and 22-20 in the first and second quarter respectively. After the breather, Culiacan players intensified defense and stopped their rivals to just 7 pts for ten minutes. For the same time they drained 28 and everything after that was just the formality. Culiacan also won the last period 18-17. Game Three is scheduled for Monday.
