Semi-Finals Game 5: Quebradillas - Arecibo 73-71

Thriller win for Quebradillas in Game Five of the BSN Semifinals. The Pirates escaped with 73-71 victory for 3-2 in the series. Now they need one more for the Finals. Shawn Redhage was the leading player in Quebradillas last night. He spent 38 minutes on the floor registering double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. Radhage reached valuation 35. Peter John Ramos also shined last night adding 19 pts and 17 boards. David Huertas scored 13 pts. In Arecibo, Daniel Santiago collected 20 points and 10 rebounds. Larry Ayuso netted 17 pts. First half was tied as each of two teams scored 33 points (14-15, 19-18). The Arecibo Capitanes shined after the breather and closed third period with nice 15-22. There was ten minutes left and Arecibo had decent lead. However, Shawn Redhage and his teammates exploded in the last period and managed to win it by 9 points (25-16), what was enough for the final score of 73-71 and 3-2 lead in the series. Game Six is scheduled for Monday.
