Finals Game 3: Cananea - Culiacan 80-91

Culiacan did a great job in Game Three of the CIBACOPA Finals. The regular season champion celebrated 80-91 victory for 3-0 lead in the series and now they need just one more for the title. Culiacan had five players with double-digits in scoring last night. Marcus Moore was the leading one with 18 points. Dallas Logan (6 as) and Horacio Llamas netted 16 points each. Victor Avila and Pedro David Meza Rogel helped with 15 and 14 points respectively. In the loosing squad, Letheal Cook shined with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Derek Thomas also was good as he added 21 pts and 5 assists. Everything started good for Cananea, who made nice 25-19 lead in the first ten minutes. Visitors immediately woke up and used Q2 to take 45-46 HT lead. From that point on there was only one team one the court and it was Culiacan. After the breather Culiacan jumped to plus 6 and in the last period extended its lead to double-digits. Q4 finished 21-26 for the guests. Game Four is scheduled for Wednesday (today) and it could be the last one this season in CIBACOPA. In case of victory by Cananea, they will be the hosts in Game Five as well.
