Semi-Finals Game 7: Quebradillas - Arecibo 92-97

The Arecibo Capitanes managed to beat Quebradillas in seventh crucial game of the BSN Semis. It means that Arecibo won the series with 4-3 and will meet Bayamon in the Finals. Larry Ayuso top-scored in this victory with 26 points. Danilo Pinnock was the leading player in Arecibo with valuation 27. He had 23 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for 28 minutes on the court. Guillermo Diaz helped with 21 pts. On the other side, Shawn Redhage replied with 24 points and 8 boards. Jonathan Garcia stopped on 19 pts. Arecibo had better start as they made 16-20 lead after ten minutes of play. Quebradillas improved offensively in Q2, but Arecibo players did the same. The hosts managed to win this period as well for decent 36-43 HT lead. Visitors drastically improved after the breather, what resulted with 27-19 in Q3 for plus one before the last ten minutes. However, Larry Ayuso and his teammates shined when it was the most important and managed to take back their lead ending the last period with 29-35 for the final 92-97 victory. Arecibo will meet Bayamon in the Finals and the first game is scheduled for June 20 (Sunday).
