Argentina failed to reach the Semifinals, but they quickly managed to recover from this elimination. Argentina outplayed Costa Rica 86-34 and will meet Mexico in the battle for fifth place in Colorado Springs. On the other side, Costa Rica will play against Puerto Rico in the game for seventh place. Natasha Spiatta was the leading scorer in this victory with 17 points (5 rebs). Celia Friotto was the MVP of this meeting with valuation 24. She spent 21 points on the floor collecting 14 points and 9 rebounds. Diana Cabrera also helped the winners with 14 pts and 9 boards. Costa Rica had Michelle Mayorga with 7 pts and 6 rebounds.
