Dominican Republic is the fifth ranked team in Mayaguez. They blasted the U.S. Virgin Islands in the crucial game for position No.5 ending this event with two straight wins. Charlenny Frias and her teammates dominated in all basketball elements against the ISV. They finished first quarter with 25-14 and the second one with 16-12 for nice 41-26 lead at the half time. Nothing has changed after the breather. Dominican Republic still was the team who dominated and finished Q3 with 22-16.
