Quarter-Finals Day 7: SERBIA - POLAND 75-57

Serbia became the last Semifinalist of the U18 European Championship. The defending champions rolled over Poland U18 75:57 in the last Quarterfinal clash. Gujanicic gave the defending champions 2:0 and Dumic made a jump shot for 10:5. Ponitka tied the game at 14:14, while Bogdan Bogdanovic closed the first period at 22:18. Michalak tied it all again at 26:26 and Michalak gave Poland 33:32 advantage. Vujosevic sent the teams to the lockers for 38:35. In the third period Serbia started to increase the lead and reached 47:35 as Vujosevic made a jump shot with 8 minutes in the frame. Bogdan Bogdanovic kept the double-digit lead at 53:43 and Siladi scored for 55:46. Vujosevic closed the quarter at 57:47 as Serbia won the frame with 19-12. Petkovic brought plus 18 in the game and Dumic made it 72:55. Bogdan Bogdanovic nailed three at the very end for the final success. Bogdan Bogdanovic paced all the winners with 14 points. Petkovic netted 13, while Vujosevic scored 12. Ponitka ended up with 20 points in the losing effort as Poland will play for the 5th-8th places. Michalak nailed 11, while Gielo added 10.
