In the Topsportcentrum on Saturday night, Eiffel Towers Den Bosch spoiled the hall debut of Rotterdam Challengers with a 97-90 win. The Rotterdam Challengers were on the verge of its first win of the season and chance for the upset until Rogier Jansen's buzzer beater tied things up at 84-84 at th end of regulation to send the game into overtime. In overtime foul trouble would hurt the Rotterdammers with Robbie Sihota and Patrick Hilliman both fouling out, and Jansen and ex-Rotterdammer Djoenie Steenvoorde took over in OT, helping Eiffel remain in 2nd place. Julien Mills had a strong game for Eiffel with a double-double of 23 pts. and 14 rebounds, Jansen with 22 pts. and Jeroen van der List adding a season-high 15 pts. Sihota led five Rotterdammers in double figures with 21 pts. Eiffel improved to 6-2 while the Roterdammers remain winless at 0-9. *by Sanders Jackson
