Regular Season Round 16: Sacramento K. - Minnesota T. 89-98

Date: November 10, 2010
Such disparate basketball personalities as Pat Riley and Kevin Love predicted there would nights like this -- Wednesday's 98-89 victory at Sacramento. Love promised that Timberwolves newcomer Michael Beasley would produce the "spectacular" before too long. Riley said the day after he traded the 2008 draft's No. 2 overall pick to the Wolves last summer that Beasley likely would come back to haunt the Heat with a 29-point, 19-rebound night some time far away. On Wednesday, Beasley scored 42 points -- 18 in the game's first 10 minutes, 27 seconds -- on 17-for-31 shooting and on a bruised left hip that delivered the Wolves their first victory since the season's second game. Their nine-point victory followed Tuesday's 99-94 loss to the Lakers in Los Angeles, ended a six-game losing streak and avenged a one-point opening-night loss to the Kings at Target Center. *Courtesy of www.startribune.com
