South Korea claimed the third consecutive win at the Asian Games. Tonight they held off DPR Korea to remain on top of Group E. Their opponents slipped at 0-3 record after the defeat. Lee Seung-Jun produced 23 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort. South Korea quickly pulled in charge in this one. They erupted for 27 points in the first period taking a 15-point advantage. The margin kept on growing in the second stanza. South Korea dominated the boards and eased to a 25-point lead at the interval 55:30. South Korea increased the tempo even more in the third stanza. They established an insurmountable 35-point advantage with ten minutes remaining. DPR Korea had to digest the third straight bitter pill at the tournament. Cho Sung-Min delivered 15 points for South Korea. Lee Kyu-Sup and Ha Seung-Jin banked 12 points apiece in the win. Chol Pak Un answered with 20 points for DPR Korea. Jin Pak Myong had 11 points in the loss.
