Another interesting game was between Pieno Zvaigzdes (12-1) which played in Kaunas LKKA-Atletas (9-4). First ranked Pieno Zvaigzdes had an easy defeat 97-85 ending at the same time the series of six consecutive victories of LKKA-Atletas. Guard Gintautas Vileita (194-75, college: Monmouth) scored 30 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) to led the charge for the winners and forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) helped with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Darius Gricius (195-86) responded with 26 points and 5 rebounds and guard Sarunas Vingelis (192-89) with 17 points and 7 assists. Pieno Zvaigzdes has a solid series of four victories in a row. Pieno Zvaigzdes of course still keep top position in the standings. LKKA-Atletas dropped to the fourth place. Pieno Zvaigzdes will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. LKKA-Atletas will play on the road against Meresta Pak. (#) to get back on winning track.
