Regular Season Round 12: Souffel - Bordeaux 61-62

The most exciting game of round 12 in NM1 was guast Bordeaux (#2) very close only 1-point road victory over Souffel (#12) 62-61. The biggest contributor to a victory was American center John Ford (207-78, college: Colorado St.) with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Romain Dardaine (200-88) helped with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Bordeaux's coach allowed to play his deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jacques Alingue (201-88) who recorded 10 points and 9 rebounds and guard Jeremy Tschamber (192-84) added 10 points and 5 rebounds. Bordeaux (10-2) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintains second position having just one point less than leader Denain. Newly promoted Souffel dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. They share it with St Chamond and Orchy. Bordeaux are looking forward to the next round to face Get Vosges (#11) in Golbey hoping to win another game. Souffel will play at home against St Quentin hoping to prove their fans that this time they can win.
