I am not sure if we can call it an upset between close teams in Reggio Emilia where 9th ranked N.Ferrara (3-5) was defeated by tenth ranked Trenkwalder (4-4) 84-77. Worth to mention a great performance of Mexican-American swingman Romel Beck (203-82, college: UNLV, agent: Luciano Capicchioni) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Joe Smith (193-77, college: Al.-Huntsville, agent: Brad Ames) who added 16 points. American guard Jermaine Boyette (188-78, college: Weber St., agent: John Greig) responded with 17 points and naturalized Albanian swingman Klaudio Ndoja (198-85) with 16 points. That victory allowed Trenkwalder (4-4) to climb to eighth place. They share it with Scafati Basket and Assigeco. N.Ferrara (3-5) on the other side went down to eleventh position as they recorded their fifth loss. Trenkwalder are looking forward to the next round to face Forli (#14) on the road where they are favorite. N.Ferrara will play against Barcellona hoping to win this game.
