Philippines scored a comfortable win over DPR Korea in the classification round of Asian Games. Rajko Toroman team will now try to finish their campaign on a high note when they take on Qatar for the fifth overall place tomorrow. DPR Korea will play versus Jordan. Philippines dominated this one. They erupted for 28 points in the opening quarter to take a 6-point lead. Philippines unleashed an 18:7 run in the second term to arrive at halftime up by as many as 17 points 54:37. More to come in the third period as Philippines boosted the margin to 20 points and entered the fourth quarter leading by as many as 21 points 76:55. Philippines stayed comfortably in charge throughout the final period and earned a well-deserved win at the end. Greg Slaughter and Mac Baracael notched 18 points each for Philippines. Chris Lutz contributed 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the victory. Jin Pak Myong answered with 17 points for DPR Korea. Kwang Kye chipped in 16 points in the loss.
