Regular Season Round 15: LKKA-Atletas - Meresta 82-68

Very significant was LKKA-Atletas' (#3) 82-68 home victory against Meresta. It was an exceptional evening for forward Vidmantas Sragauskis (200-86) who led the winners with double-double 30 points and 13 rebounds and guard Sarunas Vingelis (192-89) who stepped in adding 24 points. LKKA-Atletas' coach allowed to play his deep bench players and giving the chance to rest for starting five. Guard Liudas Radavicius (188-88) came up with 20 points and 6 rebounds and guard Saulius Raziulis (183-76, agent: Side Court) added 11 points and 5 rebounds for Meresta in defeat. Despite that victory LKKA-Atletas went down to fourth position due to points difference. Meresta (11-4) on the other side took second place as they recorded their fourth loss. LKKA-Atletas' next round game will be against higher ranked Meresta (#3) at Pakruojis and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Meresta will have a break next round.
