Very significant was Fisica's (#2) 71-59 home victory against Electrico FC. The winners were led by Cape Verdean guard Braima Freire (188-82) who had that evening 23 points and forward Carlos Dias (197-79) who supported him with 9 points and 4 assists. Even 11 points by guard Joao Lanzinha (188-89) did not help to save the game for Electrico FC. Electrico FC's coach Andriy Melnychuk tried 11 players and giving the chance to rest for starting five. Despite the victory Fisica (3-1) stay at second position having just two points less than leader Barcelos. Electrico FC (2-2) on the other side went down to fifth place as they recorded their second loss. Fisica's next round game will be against bottom-ranked Seixal (#12) at home hoping to win another game. Electrico FC will play against Guifoes (#6) to get back on winning track.
