Regular Season Round 11: Alcazar Adepal - CB Canarias 86-81

Rather expected game when 13th ranked La Laguna (4-7) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Alcazar (5-6) 86-81. The best player for the winner was guard Francisco Robles (195-81) who had 27 points. American swingman Jerod Ward (206-76, college: Michigan) helped with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Alcazar's coach Javier Juarez allowed to play his deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Albert Sabat (187-85) produced 20 points and 4 assists and Sudanese power forward Martin Koshwal (208-87, college: De Paul) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for the guests. Thanks to that win newly promoted Alcazar moved-up to ninth place. La Laguna dropped to the twelfth place with seven games lost. They share it with Lleida and Clinicas Rincon. Alcazar are looking forward to the next round to face Breogan (#15) in Lugo which should be theoretically an easy game. La Laguna will play at home against Melilla hoping to prove their supporters that it was just an accident.
