The biggest surprise of 12th round was host BK Pardubice (9-2) victory at home over league's leader Basketbol Brno (#8) 87-76. . It allowed BK Pardubice to take over leadership position It also means that the series of two victories in a row of Basketbol Brno ended. The biggest contributor to a victory was American power forward Marcus Arnold (207-84, college: Illinois) with 27 points and 9 reboundsArnold played previously at Eurobasket Summer League, which is considered top U.S. summer league for international scouts. . International center Zbynek Pospisil (205-81) helped with 16 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Congolese-French forward Boris Meno (203-83, college: Davidson) who recorded double-double 21 points and 18 rebounds and American guard Emmanuel Holloway (188-86, college: Illinois St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds. Thanks to that win BK Pardubice become a new league leader, which they share with BK Prostejov. Basketbol Brno keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. They share it with USK Praha. Basketbol Brno will play next round against strong BK Prostejov trying to make it back to the top of the standings. BK Pardubice will try to continue on it's current victory against tenth ranked Svitavy in Svitavy.
