Very expected game in Tarnobrzeg where 12th ranked Siarka (1-7) was defeated by eighth ranked Polonia Azbud (4-4) 75-60. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Puerto Rican guard Darnell Hinson (186-80, college: Northeastern St.) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 rebounds and guard Michal Kwiatkowski (190-92) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Louis Truscott (201-78, college: Houston, agent: Michael Hart) responded with 8 points and 16 rebounds and his countryman forward Kevin Goffney (196-86, college: Chattanooga, agent: Michael Hart) with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Siarka (1-7) added seventh loss to their record. That victory allowed Polonia Azbud (4-4) to climb to fifth place. They share it with PBG Basket and Trefl Sopot. Siarka (1-7) on the other side took the bottom position. Polonia Azbud are looking forward to the next round to face PBG Basket (#7) in Poznan. Siarka will play at home against PGE Turow (#4) hoping to prove their fans that they can break losing series.
