Regular Season Round 13: Miyazaki SS - Fukuoka Rizing 93-80

The most shocking disappointment of round 13 was road defeat of much higher ranked Fukuoka Rizing to ninth ranked Miyazaki 80-93. American forward Elijah Palmer (201-81, college: Duquesne, agent: Side Court) stepped up with 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and his countryman swingman Jackie Manuel (196-83, college: N.Carolina) helped with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. At the losing side American swingman Michael Parker (200-81, college: Evergreen St.) responded with double-double 27 points and 17 rebounds and his countryman forward Jartavious Henderson (203-87, college: Memphis) with double-double 16 points and 11 rebounds. That victory allowed Miyazaki (5-8) to climb to fifth place. They share it with four other teams. Fukuoka Rizing (8-5) on the other side went down to third position as they recorded their fifth loss. Miyazaki are looking forward to the next round to face higher ranked Fukuoka Rizing (#3) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fukuoka Rizing will have a break next round.
