Regular Season Round 13: Svitavy - BK Pardubice 70-84

League top team - BK Pardubice (10-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat tenth ranked Svitavy 84-70. American power forward Marcus Arnold (207-84, college: Illinois) stepped up and scored 21 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and international center Zbynek Pospisil (205-81) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Arnold is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side power forward Ladislav Horak (205-86) responded with 21 points and guard Tomas Macela (179-88) scored 11 points and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Svitavy (1-10) added sixth loss to their record. BK Pardubice of course still keep top position in the standings. Svitavy keeps the tenth position with 1-10 record. They have the same record like Plzen. BK Pardubice will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Svitavy will play on the road against the league's second-placed BK Prostejov (#2) to get more than just one victory in their record.
