The most important game in the last round took place in Jakarta between second ranked Filipino Philippine Patriots (8-6) and fifth ranked Indonesian Satria Muda (6-8) on Saturday night. Philippine Patriots were defeated by Satria Muda in a tough game on the road 78-82. Philippine Patriots were trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 27-20 charge of Satria Muda, which allowed them to win the game. Four Satria Muda players scored in double figures. Forward Junjun Cabatu (193-84) replied with 14 points and 6 rebounds and American-Jordanian guard Rasheim Wright (194-81, college: District of Col.) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Philippine Patriots. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Satria Muda has a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 6-8 record. Philippine Patriots at the other side keep the second place with six games lost. They share the position with KL Dragons. Satria Muda are looking forward to face higher ranked Singapore Slingers (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
