Very expected game when 8th ranked Basketbol Brno (3-9) was smashed at home by second ranked BK Prostejov (10-2) 86-66. It was a very good performance for Canadian forward Kyle Landry (206-86, college: N.Arizona) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Benas Veikalas (192-83, college: Metro St.) contributed with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American center Stephen Castleberry (214-81, college: Rider, agent: Side Court) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Michal Norwa (201-83) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Basketbol Brno. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BK Prostejov is a new league leader. They share the position with BK Pardubice. Basketbol Brno keeps the eighth position. They have the same record like USK Praha. BK Prostejov is looking forward to face Svitavy (#11) in Svitavy in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Basketbol Brno will play at home against USK Praha and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
