There was a small surprise in Jonava where eleventh ranked Silute (7-11) beat 9th ranked Triobet Malsta (7-10) 67-55. Swingman Vytautas Nedzinskas (196-87) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Guard Aidas Virsilas (180-86) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Forward Vytautas Kruzikas (199-89) produced 19 points and forward Henrikas Vorotnikovas (202-90) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. The victory allowed Silute (7-11) to climb to the tenth place. Triobet Malsta lost their third straight game in a row. They are currently in ninth position with a 7-10 record. Silute will meet higher ranked Mazeikiai (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Triobet Malsta will play against Zalgiris-Sabonio in Kaunas and hope to secure a win.
