Another interesting game was also a derby match between two teams from Tbilisi: Army Sport Klub (#2) and Dinamo (#10). Army Sport Klub (7-1) smashed visiting Dinamo (1-8) by 43 points 105-62. The game without a history. Army Sport Klub lead from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Army Sport Klub dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Dinamo Tbilisi's 38 and made 32-of-42 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game, while Dinamo Tbilisi only scored nine points from the stripe. Army Sport Klub forced 20 Dinamo Tbilisi turnovers and outrebounded Dinamo Tbilisi 66-35 including a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Kote Tugushi (192-84) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists and the former international center David Ugrekhelidze (207-83) who added 21 points and 17 rebounds during the contest. Five Army Sport Klub players scored in double figures. Forward Irakli Alkhanaidze (202-92) responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Nikoloz Guldedava (194-91) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players seeing no chance for a win. Army Sport Klub have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They is a new league leader in their first year in the league. They share the position with MIA Tbilisi. Dinamo Tbilisi lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place. Dinamo Tbilisi will play next round against strong Kutaisi trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Army Sport Klub will try to continue on it's current victory against eighth ranked Batumi on the road.
