Regular Season Round 14: SKK Siedlce - Sportino 81-65

Very important is a roadloss of second-ranked ISS Sportino (11-3) against eleventh ranked SKK (6-8) on Wednesday night. Visiting ISS Sportino was defeated by eleventh ranked SKK (6-8) in Siedlce 81-65. It looked good early as ISS Sportino took an 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then SKK Siedlce had a 25-12 second quarter charge getting the lead and ISS Sportino was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-81. SKK Siedlce outrebounded ISS Sportino 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. SKK Siedlce were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by ISS Sportino's players. Swingman Kamil Sulima (192-80) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Mateusz Bal (181-89) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Center Aleksander Lichodzijewski (202-84) replied with 9 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Wojciech Zurawski (199-76) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for ISS Sportino. SKK Siedlce moved-up to tenth place. ISS Sportino at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. They share it with Rosasport. SKK Siedlce will play against higher ranked MMKS Dabrowa Gornicza (#5) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. ISS Sportino will play against Asecco Prokom 2 in Gdynia and hopes to get back on the winning track.
