Superleague top team - Army Sport Klub (8-1) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Batumi (2-7) 98-65. The game without a history. Army Sport Klub led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Batumi's 22. Army Sport Klub outrebounded Batumi 60-30 including a 42-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Zviad Babiashvili (199-78) who scored 25 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international guard Kote Tugushi (192-84) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Army Sport Klub players scored in double figures. Army Sport Klub's coach Levan Moseshvili felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Ivane Maisuradze (194-85) who recorded 28 points and the former international forward Lasha Keshelava (200-81) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively.
