Another upset was a game between Extremadura (6-7) and Prat Juventud (5-7), which took place in Plasencia. Higher ranked Extremadura lost at home to tenth ranked Prat Juventud 58-63 on Friday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 21-10. But Plasencia Extremadura won second quarter 15-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Prat Juventud won last quarter 15-11. It was a very good performance for forward Marco Todorovic (199-92) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Power forward Jordi Llorens (202-73) contributed with 10 points for the winners. Naturalized American forward Andre Howard (199-78, college: St.Joseph's) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and Montenegrin center Marko Sekulic (206-86) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Plasencia Extremadura. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Prat Juventud jumped to the seventh spot. They share the position with three other teams. Plasencia Extremadura keeps the sixth place. Prat Juventud will face CB Guadalajara (#14) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
