Very expected game when 10th ranked Silute (7-13) lost to fifth ranked LKKA-Atletas (13-6) in Kaunas 70-79. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second quarter ending it with a 4-point deficit before their 23-10 run, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was forward Vidmantas Sragauskis (200-86) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Sarunas Vingelis (192-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 assists. LKKA-Atletas' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Vytautas Nedzinskas (196-87) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and guard Evaldas Jurkus (190-84) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Four Silute players scored in double figures. LKKA-Atletas jumped to the third spot. They share the position with Zalgiris-Sabonio. Silute keeps the tenth place. LKKA-Atletas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Kaunas to the arena Zalgiris-Sabonio.
