There was a small surprise in Arkadia where eighth ranked Arkadikos (4-3) defeated 5th ranked Ikaroi Serron (4-3) 66-58 on Saturday. Guard Miron Papadakis (183-88) fired 15 points for the winners. Swingman Nikos Kokkalis (198-85) chipped in 12 points. Arkadikos' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Kostas Kakaroudis (204-83) produced 13 points and 5 rebounds and guard Kostas Totsios (191-78) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Four Ikaroi Serron players scored in double figures. Arkadikos moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Ikaroi Serron. Arkadikos will face Pagrati (#10) in Athens in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Ikaroi Serron will play at home against Panerythraikos (#16) in New Eritrea.
