The most surprising game was the first loss of undefeated Barcelos (6-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Fisica (5-2) 77-69. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Barcelos. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 43-32 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Fisica made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American power forward Jason Underwood (206-84, college: Centenary) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. Guinea-Bissau center Anastacio Sami (207-76) helped adding 14 points and 12 rebounds. Underwood is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Fisica players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Pedro Silva (198-79) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and guard Carlos Fechas (180-81) scored 15 points and 7 assists. The victory allowed Fisica (5-2) to climb to the third place. They are looking forward to promotion back to the LPB after one year in the Proliga. Fisica share it with Galitos FC and Angra. This loss did not change Barcelos' (6-1) top position in the standings as they suffered their first lossThey share the it with Sangalhos. Fisica is looking forward to face Maia Basket (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Barcelos will play against Alges (#11) and is hoping to win this game.
