Regular Season Round 11: Elitzur Ramla - Maccabi R.Hen 90-74

The most interesting game of round 11 in the D1 was a road defeat of 4th placed Maccabi Ramat Hen (7-4) by first ranked Elitzur Ramla (10-1) who outscored them by 16 points 74-90. The game was mostly controlled by Elitzur Ramla. Maccabi Ramat Hen managed to win fourth quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Elitzur Ramla dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Maccabi Ramat Hen's 28. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for power forward Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton (188-86, college: Purdue, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Center Le'Coe Willingham (183-81, college: Auburn) helped adding 19 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Elitzur Ramla have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They stay at first position. Maccabi Ramat Hen is currently in third place with a 7-4 record. Elitzur Ramla is looking forward to face Elitzur Rishon Le-Zion (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Maccabi Ramat Hen will play against Hapoel Tel-Aviv (#10) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
