Regular Season Round 6: Turk Telekom - Netanya 84-60

Turk Telekom earned the second win in EuroChallenge season. They cruised past Netanya on the final day of the regular season. The victory helped the Turkish team to a 2-4 record but they remained at the bottom of Group D ladder. Netanya entered the Last 16 round despite the defeat. Turk Telekom surged ahead midway through the opening frame. Ceyhun Altay posted a 13:3 lead for the hosts. Turk Telekom maintained the margin as they were up by ten 22:12 at the first break. Oren hit a triple midway through the second quarter as the hosts piled up a 17-point lead 33:16. But Netanya were not about to surrender that easily. Romeo Travis triggered a 15:3 run that put the visitors within five points 31:36 at halftime. However Turk Telekom quickly restored a double-digit advantage after the main break. The hosts capped the term with a 6:2 spurt to take a 64:49 lead. Mehmet Yagmur and Sani Becirovic knocked down back-to-back trebles as the margin grew at 28-point mark midway through the fourth term and Turk Telekom never looked back en route to the victory. Ceyhun Altay and Sani Becirovic accounted for 20 points each for Turk Telekom. Mehmet Yagmur added 13 points in the victory. Tony Younger replied with 15 points and 9 rebounds for Netanya. Romeo Travis delivered 12 points and 8 rebounds in the loss.
