Regular Season Round 13: LeGamberi FO - Ferrara 61-67

Date: December 23, 2010
No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (6-7) beat 13th ranked MarcoPoloShop.it (4-9) in Forli 67-61 on Thursday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But MarcoPoloShop.it won fourth quarter 20-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American-Belgian guard Ryan Hoover (188-74, college: Notre Dame, agency: SportsTalent) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. American guard Jermaine Boyette (188-78, college: Weber St., agency: SportsTalent) contributed with 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Lorenzo Gordon (201-83, college: Oklahoma City, agency: Hart Sports Mngm) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Ryan Wittman (198-88, college: Cornell) added 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for MarcoPoloShop.it. MarcoPoloShop.it's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Naturhouse Ferrara maintains ninth place with 6-7 record. Newly promoted MarcoPoloShop.it keeps the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Naturhouse Ferrara will face league's second-placed Snaidero Udine on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. MarcoPoloShop.it will play against Fastweb CM (#3) in Casale.
