Regular Season Round 13: TTU - Nevezis 70-83

Date: January 7, 2011
Not a big story in a game in Tallinn where 10th ranked Estonian TTU/Kalev (3-9) was defeated by fourth ranked Lithuanian Nevezis (9-2) 83-70 on Friday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 13 points. Center Egidijus Dimsa (205-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and Swiss-Lithuanian guard Rolandas Alijevas (192-85) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Four Nevezis players scored in double figures. At the losing side American-DR Congolese forward Bambale Osby (203-86, college: Maryland) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds and forward Illimar Pilk (195-88) scored 15 points, 5 assists and 7 steals. TTU/Kalev's coach Ullar Kerde tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Nevezis keep a position of Elite leader. Loser TTU/Kalev keeps the tenth place with nine games lost. Nevezis will face Kalev/Cramo (#7) in Tallinn in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. TTU/Kalev will play on the road against TU/Rock in Tartu.
