Very expected game when 8th ranked Basketbol Brno (5-10) was smashed on the road by fourth ranked Novy Jicin (11-4) 88-64 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Novy Jicin. Basketbol Brno managed to win fourth quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Novy Jicin made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game, while Basketbol Brno only scored one point from the stripe. Novy Jicin had a 35-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Novy Jicin moved-up to third place, which they share with BK Decin. Loser Basketbol Brno keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. Novy Jicin will meet bottom-ranked Basketbal Svitavy (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Basketbol Brno will play against BC Kolin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
