The Ants fell to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 100-97 at the NBDL Showcase Monday night in South Padre 100-97. The Ants started out slow as Fort Wayne was outscored 20-16 in the first quarter and 49-43 in the first half. The Ants stormed out of the gate in the third quarter to tie things up 74 after three. In the fourth the Ants would struggle to score and ended up falling 100-97. Oliver Lafayette led the Ants with 21 points while Rod Wilmont added 20. Jeff Adrien paced the Vipers with 30 points.
