The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Energa Czarni (10-3) in Slupsk on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by eighth ranked AZS Koszalin (6-6) 104-92. They made 27-of-32 free shots (84.4 percent) during the game. 28 personal fouls committed by Energa Czarni helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward George Reese (201-77, college: Ohio St., agency: Alti Sport) stepped up and scored 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and his fellow American import swingman Winsome Frazier (193-82, college: Mississippi St., agency: KMG Sports Management) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side the former international forward Krzysztof Roszyk (200-78) responded with 17 points and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) and American guard Jerel Blassingame (177-81, college: UNLV) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 assists and 6 steals. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. AZS Koszalin have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place. Energa Czarni at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. AZS Koszalin are looking forward to face Anwil (#9) in Wloclawek in the next round. Energa Czarni will play on the road against SKK Kotwica (#11) in Kolobrzeg and is hoping to win this game.
