NBL round 14 most interesting game took place in Burgas (derby !!!) between Tundja and Chernomorets. Sixth ranked Tundja (5-9) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked Chernomorets (3-11). Tundja managed to escape with a 3-point win 86-83 in the game for the sixth place. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Chernomorets won fourth quarter 31-24. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 26 personal fouls committed by Chernomorets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Slovenian forward Simon Finzgar (196-80, agency: Global Sports Plaza) scored 26 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Stanislav Govedarov (185-80) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Tundja players scored in double figures. Guard Tsvetelin Ivanov (196-89) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and guard Dimitar Roshmanov (185-85) scored 20 points and 7 assists. Tundja maintains sixth position with 5-9 record. Chernomorets lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Spartak. Tundja are looking forward to face higher ranked Balkan (#3) in Botevgrad in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Chernomorets will play on the road against the league's second-placed Levski (#2) in Sofia and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
