There was a small surprise in Klaipeda where tenth ranked Triobet Malsta (10-14) defeated 7th ranked Nafta Universitetas (13-11) 57-53 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 32-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Triobet Malsta forced 23 Nafta Universitetas turnovers. Guard Tadas Sebeziovas (183-85) scored 21 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Tomas Milinskas (202-90) chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Forward Viktoras Chodosovskis (200-89) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and forward Julius Kazakauskas (197-90) scored 12 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Triobet Malsta moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Silute. Loser Nafta Universitetas keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. Triobet Malsta will face Erelita-KTU (#14) in Kaunas in the next round where they are favorite.
