Very important is a road loss of second ranked Capljina Lasta (10-5) against fifth ranked SL IAT Leotar (9-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Capljina Lasta was defeated by SL IAT Leotar in Trebinje 89-78. The game was mostly controlled by SL IAT Leotar. Capljina Lasta managed to win third quarter 26-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. SL IAT Leotar shot 65.2 percent from the field. Capljina Lasta was plagued by 31 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and power forward Dusko Markovic (204-74) who added 17 points during the contest (made all of his seven free throws). Five SL IAT Leotar players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian guard Jovan Zdravkovic (178-78, agency: Interperformances) responded with 21 points and naturalized Croatian guard Krunoslav Rimac (195-84, agency: Interperformances) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SL IAT Leotar has a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 9-6 record. Capljina Lasta at the other side dropped to the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Borac Nektar. SL IAT Leotar will play against Zrinjski HT (#8) in Mostar in the next round. Capljina Lasta will play at home against the league's second-placed Mladost (#2) in Mrkonjic Grad and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
