The most shocking disappointment of round 11 in the Division A was a home defeat of 4th placed NSA (6-4) by seventh ranked Rilski 2 (5-5) who outscored them by 25 points 98-73. It ended the two-game winning streak of NSA. NSA was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Rilski 2 made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Rilski 2 had a 32-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by NSA helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for forward Stanislav Vaklinov (206-89, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Guard Lubomir Kirov (195-89) helped adding 29 points and 8 rebounds. Four Rilski 2 players scored in double figures. Forward Galimir Tomov (196-88) responded with 24 points and 7 rebounds and forward Plamen Hristov (197-91) scored 16 points. Rilski 2 moved-up to sixth place. NSA at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Balkan 2. Rilski 2 are looking forward to face higher ranked Academik Plovdiv (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. NSA will play against Vidabasket and is hoping to win this game.
