There was a change at the Proliga leadership position after last games. Round 11 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Barcelos (9-2). They were defeated by third ranked Sangalhos (9-2) 63-54 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Barcelos. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 34-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for swingman Emanuel Silva (188-79) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Mauro Santos (186-84) helped adding 12 points. The former international forward Pedro Silva (198-79) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds and guard Nuno Pedroso (187-79) scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. Four Barcelos players scored in double figures. Sangalhos has a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Barcelos and Galitos FC. Barcelos will play next round against Seixal trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Sangalhos will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Angrabasket on the road.
