Halcones Rojos stayed undefeated at the Liga Americas Group D action. They held off Cocodrilos de Caracas to improve at 2-0 record on top of the standings. Jaime Lloreda and Carlos Rivera stepped up with 17 points each to lead the way for Rojos. Cocodrilos in the meantime suffered the second straight defeat. The Venezuelan team outscored their opponents in the first period. They grabbed a 26:15 lead after ten minutes. Cocodrilos maintained the advantage as they recorded a 44:34 halftime advantage. Halcones changed things drastically in the third term. They capped the term with seven unanswered points to post a 67:61 lead. Halcones Rojos stayed in charge in the fourth period and rolled to a confident win at the end. Paul Stoll knocked down 14 points for the Mexican team.
