An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Brno. First ranked Frisco Sika faced 3rd placed Basket Slovanka MB. Host Frisco Sika (14-1) smashed guests from Vodochody (11-4) 96-55. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Basket Slovanka MB. The game without a history. Frisco Sika led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Basket Slovanka MB's 38. The best player for the winners was Swedish guard Frida Eldebrink (174-88) who scored 21 points and 5 rebounds. Swedish center Louice Halvarsson (189-89) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Frisco Sika players scored in double figures. Frisco Sika's coach Jan Bobrovsky felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was center Monika Satoranska (185-93) who recorded 12 points and 6 rebounds and center Eva Sipova (188-86) added 8 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks respectively. Frisco Sika have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 14-1 record, which they share with USK Praha. Basket Slovanka MB at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Frisco Sika is looking forward to face bottom-ranked BK Pliska Studanka (#10) in Pardubice in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Basket Slovanka MB will play on the road against Sokol Hradec Kralove (#8) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
